Coalition of Parents in Esports was founded by parents of professional gamers across the world as a US based not for profit with a worldwide mission of empowering youth, parents, & educators to use gaming to build confidence, curiosity, community, & careers. COPE is committed to removing esports’ outdated negative stigmas by informing how gaming can be a beneficial tool to meet kids and young adults where they are. The organization is made up of industry professionals, gaming influencers, and dedicated parents delivering programs and scholarships while providing support to gamers and their parents to find valuable and trusted resources. COPE is most active with the gaming community on Twitter at @COPEgg but can be found on other social media platforms and at live events like Dreamhack and TwitchCon with their educational lounge COPE Cabana. Too many of us have experienced avoidable hearing loss through our love of music. There are now ways to enjoy what we love while protecting our hearing, but it is vitally important that awareness and education start young and in the home. Parents need to educate them on the values of gaming but also on how to keep our kids safe.

We are parents who advocate for using the best equipment to keep kids safe no matter what sport or activity they pursue. COPE parents encourage the use of monitoring tools to ensure gamers are doing the most to protect their hearing while playing the games they love.
